About Patty Marks, MA Reading / Dyslexia Specialist and Consultant
Patty is an Orton-Gillingham Tutor trained by a Fellow with the Association of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE). She is also a California Credentialed English Teacher with experience teaching students of all ages reading, spelling, and writing skills
What is Dyslexia?
Generally, people with dyslexia have difficulty breaking down words into simple sounds. People with dyslexia have trouble reading at a good pace and without mistakes. They may also have a hard time with reading comprehension, spelling, writing (sentence structure), grammar, and math.
